# Command line interface (CLI): Basic example In this example, we show a how a basic CLI version of Prodrisk can be run. The required input files are specified in [](../../basic/input_files/input_files.md). Add your executable programs to the path: ``` set path=absolutePathToExecutables;%path% ``` Navigate to your system folder. Run Prodrisk: ``` prodrisk.exe ``` If you have a license to *cplex* and the libary file is in your path, it is possible to call ``` prodrisk_cplex.exe ``` To run Prodrisk in parallell as multiple processes, Prodrisk uses the MPI implementation Microsoft Corporation, MS-MPI: ``` mpiexec -n 10 prodrisk_cplex_ms_mpi ``` or ``` mpiexec -n 10 prodrisk_ms_mpi ``` This generates an interactive dialogue as shown below: ![](./interactive_dialogue.png) and it gives you the response: ![](./interactive_dialogue2.png)
