Inflow#
Prodrisk requires time series describing the inflow as an input to the program. The time series are used directly in the Prodrisk simulations and a mathematical stochastic inflow model is used in the backward iterations.
An overview of the different inflow models that can used in the backward iterations is found under Inflow model theory.
Some parameters describing the inflow model can be found in Control parameters in tilsigsddp.CPAR
The possibility to generate additional inflow scenarios with the chosen Prodrisk inflow model, and use these scenarios in the forward simulation, is described in Generated inflow used in the forward simulations.
It is possible to add snow reservoir series or other pre-processed inflow series to the inflow model fitting by the use of dummy modules. The method for this is described in Including snow pack series or preprocessed inflow series in inflow estimation.
The stochastic inflow model used in the backward recursion in Prodrisk is prepared during preprocessing and communicated internally between parallel processes.
If run with prognosis, the programs Tilpro or Snomod should be run (in addition to HBV, if used) before starting Prodrisk. If daily inflow is used, Tilpro should be run after Detmod has been run.
